Our Stories 

Brown Deer Junior Woman's Club loves to support our community.  When the Brown Deer Farmer's Market asked if we could "man" the Taste It Tent at the Wednesday market, our members were more than willing to do so.  

During the summer and fall 2025, we staffed the Taste It Tent at the Farmer's Market for three weeks.  We prepped samples when needed, offered people shopping at the market a free sample of a fruit or vegetable and told them which vendor provided the item.  

All the members who volunteered said it was one of the easiest things we have ever been asked to do.  We learned that our club had good turnout at the Taste It Tent and would be welcomed back anytime.  So make sure to stop by and see us next summer at the Brown Deer Farmer's Market!
