Poetry and Short Story Writing Contest

Every year the Brown Deer Junior Woman’s Club sponsors a youth writing contest. The contest seeks to provide an avenue for Brown Deer community, school-age youth to freely express themselves and draw upon their experiences through writing. 

This contest is open to all youth who are interested in writing short stories and poetry. Winners of the local contest in both poetry and short story categories move on to a state-wide contest.
