Our Stories 

On Wednesday morning, October 22, 2025, seven ladies from the Brown Deer Junior Woman's Club and one friend of the Club went to the Soles for Jesus shoe warehouse in Milwaukee to sort shoes, put insoles into new shoes, and put new shoe laces into donated shoes. We handled over 300 pairs of shoes, which translates into 8 shipping boxes that will be delivered to Africa in the near future. 

The shoes sent will make a difference in the lives of those who receive them, like being able to go to school and increase their overall health. It was a very worthwhile way to spend a Wednesday morning. We will plan another trip to the shoe warehouse in the spring. Perhaps some of you will be able to attend!
