Bringing Smiles to Students
February 2026
February is Dental Health month, so members of the Brown Deer Junior Woman's Club contacted the District Nurse at the Brown Deer School District to find out what she needed to help promote students' dental health. The District Nurse requested supplies for tooth cleaning and screening and teaching dental health to students. She also requested toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste to give to students upon request.
Club members donated supplies and cash and the members approved that allocation of funds to purchase toothbrushes and tubes of tooth paste.
At the March 24th meeting of the School Board, members of the Club will present the 408 child and adult toothbrushes and 419 tubes of toothpaste to the District.
Thanks to club member Diane Johnson for submitting this great story and picture.
