Our Stories 

Responding to the GFWC State Junior Director’s challenge to get books into the hands of kids, instead of a holiday gift exchange at the Club’s December 2025 banquet, members hosted a book collection. Thanks to the generosity of our members and guests, we collected 160 books and $30 in cash for the Books for Kids program through Next Door MKE Early Childhood Education.  

The donated books will support one‑on‑one reading sessions, mobile library distributions, parent engagement activities, and community access to free books for children. We are proud to partner with this wonderful organization and help advance their mission to bring the joy of reading to every child.
